Fernando de Oliveira Gil
Computer Engineer graduated from the School of Engineering of the University of São Paulo, which is currently a Master’s Degree student, and Designer in Sustainability from UMAPAZ. Is Co-Founder of Auire: Accessible Technologies, where develops the Color and Money Identifier. Is teacher at Centro Paula Souza, researcher at the Safety Analysis Group (GAS-USP) and member of Poli Citzenship Committee (Poli Cidadã). Works with Assistive and Appropriate Technologies, and with Safety of aeronautical systems. He had worked in needed communities in the Brazilian states of São Paulo, Tocantins and Mato Grosso do Sul in partnership with students from Massachusetts Institute of Technologies (MIT), USA. He won the entrepreneurial award Ser Empreendedor 2007, was nominated Unreasonable Institute Fellow and invited speaker at TEDxAmsterdam in 2010. |
